Louise Hobbs Quartet
The quartet can also play as a trio for those quieter occasions, without drums.
- Louise Hobbs: vocals
Mellifluous-voiced songstress with a feel for swing.
- Peter Shepherd: piano
Peter has been playing piano in jazz bands since 1981, and teaches jazz piano. You can hear the influence of Bill Evans and Keith
Jarrett in his melodic soloing and thoughtful harmonies.
- John Trowsdale: bass
John is a professor of microbiology who has contributed a great deal to the human genome project, but this doesn't stop him from being a
great double bass player!
- Adrian Coggins: drums
Adrian is the rhythmic heart of the quartet, and is equally at home with a bossa nova, a ballad or a driving swing number.
Caxton Swing

for all occasions when you are celebrating - whether you want to dance or sit and listen.
